Carbon Reduction Plan Policy

Commitment to achieving Net Zero

Brahmarsive Inc. is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2035.

Brahmarsive Inc. is a global organisation headquartered in the United States, with operations across the United States, Europe and India. This commitment covers our whole organisation, on a global basis — Scope 1, Scope 2 and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions defined below. A global boundary meets and exceeds the NHS requirement, which sets UK operations as the minimum, and aligns with the NHS net zero supplier roadmap’s move to global reporting.

Baseline Emissions Footprint

Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that were produced before the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions. They are the reference point against which future emissions reductions are measured.

Baseline Year: 2025

Additional details relating to the baseline emissions calculation:

This is Brahmarsive Inc.’s first Carbon Reduction Plan. Emissions were calculated in line with the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard on a global basis, covering our workforce of approximately 62 staff across the United States, Europe and India (including the Coimbatore office). It includes Scope 1, Scope 2 and the required subset of Scope 3.

The assessment was informed by available operational data, including electricity and utility information for the Coimbatore office, business travel and flight records, employee commuting information, and estimates relating to home working. Data was gathered with input from relevant internal functions, including Finance, HR and Administration.

Where complete or directly measured data was not available, reasonable estimates and were applied using the best information available at the time of assessment. These assumptions will be reviewed and refined as more complete and reliable data becomes available, supporting continual improvement in the accuracy of our emissions reporting.

Baseline year emissions:
Emissions Total (tCO2e)
Scope 1 (Direct Emissions from Petrol, Diesel and Refrigerants use) 12.76
Scope 2 (Electricity Consumption) 22.94
Scope 3 (Purchased Goods, Capital Goods, Fuel and Energy-Related Activities, Upstream Transportation and Distribution, Waste generated in operations, Business Travel, Employee Commuting) 431.09
Total Emissions 466.79
Current Emissions Reporting

Reporting Year: 2026

Emissions Total (tCO2e)
Scope 1 (Direct Emissions from Petrol, Diesel and Refrigerants use) 11.11
Scope 2 (Electricity Consumption) 23.67
Scope 3 (Purchased Goods, Capital Goods, Fuel and Energy-Related Activities, Upstream Transportation and Distribution, Waste generated in operations, Business Travel, Employee Commuting) 2254.68
Total Emissions 2289.46

Scope 3 emissions increased during the current reporting period, primarily reflecting increased business travel and changes in business activity compared with the previous reporting period.

Scope 3 emissions – included sources

In line with the PPN 006 reporting standard, the following subset of Scope 3 categories has been included:

  1. Category 1- Purchased goods and services
  2. Category 2- Capital Goods
  3. Category 3- Fuel and Energy related Activities
  4. Category 4 – Upstream transportation and distribution
  5. Category 5 – Waste generated in operations
  6. Category 6 – Business travel
  7. Category 7 – Employee commuting
  8. Category 9 – downstream transportation and distribution – to the list
Emissions reduction targets

To continue our progress towards achieving Net Zero, Brahmarsive Inc. has adopted the following carbon reduction targets.

As an interim milestone on our pathway to Net Zero, we will work to reduce our carbon emissions by 30% by 2035 against our 2026 reporting year baseline of 2,289.46 tCO₂e, reducing emissions to approximately 1,602.62 tCO₂e

Carbon Reduction Projects

Completed and current carbon reduction initiatives

The following environmental management measures and projects have been implemented since the baseline year.

To support this target, we will focus on the following areas:

1. Energy efficiency and electricity consumption
   a. Monitor and reduce electricity consumption across our offices and operational
facilities.
    b. Improve energy efficiency through LED lighting, efficient equipment and improved
energy management.
   c. Encourage responsible energy use, including switching off equipment and lighting when not required.
  d. Explore opportunities to increase the use of renewable or lower carbon electricity practical.

2. Business travel
   a. Reduce unnecessary business travel through greater use of virtual meetings and collaboration tools.
   b. Encourage lower-carbon travel options where practical.
   c. Promote rail and other lower-emission alternatives for suitable journeys.
   d. Monitor business travel emissions annually to identify opportunities for further reduction.

3. Employee commuting
   a. Encourage lower-carbon commuting options, including public transport, car sharing, cycling and walking where practical.
   b. Continue to consider flexible and home-working arrangements where these are appropriate to the role and operational requirements.
   c. Conducting Employee education and engagement regarding the energy conserving methods.

4. Waste management:
To Promote waste reduction and segregation of waste across our operations.

5. Refrigerant management:
Maintaining cooling and refrigeration equipment to minimise refrigerant
leakage and recording relevant refrigerant usage.

6. Procurement:
Increasing awareness of environmental considerations when purchasing goods
and services and engaging with suppliers where appropriate.

7. Carbon monitoring:
Establishing a more structured approach to measuring and monitoring Scope 1, Scope 2 and relevant Scope 3 emissions to support ongoing carbon reduction.

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 006 and the associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.

Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard, and use the appropriate UK Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting.

Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions has been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard.
